He cries with you

So many questions,
How? Why?
The truth we seek seems hidden,
Protected
From prying eyes and wondering minds,
Just trying to make it all make sense.
Is there any sense to be found?
I don't know,
But He cries with you.
How?
How can one so full of life, laughter, love
now be so...
silent?
Memories flash, unrelenting before our eyes,
His smile, his jokes,
His reassuring embrace.
And He cries with you.
He was a rock
Incessantly selfless.
He would not let the years condemn him,
he refused to get old,
but then suddenly...
And He cries with you.
His strength was not his own,
nor was his unstoppable love purely of his own design.
You see...
There is one who cries, who laughs, who shouts, who grieves and rejoices, who loves and who suffers with you.
And my Grandad
Dances and sings and celebrates with him.
Peace and love and joy untold
Enfold him as he gazes on
The one who cries with you.
