Prayer for Climate Sense

God who dances at the edges and at the very centre of creation,
call us to our senses.
Open our eyes to the wondrous work of your breath
and to the damage we have done in the name of progress.
Open our ears to sacred sounds of recreation
and to the travailing land no longer able to sustain life.
We look to the earth to seek healing
for our skin feels the burning of unprotected skies.
May our tongues taste your truth of our total dependence
and our lips form plans of graceful growth and of letting go.
Call us God to our senses,
that we may live lightly.
Call us God of our senses,
to value the richness of compassion for each other and our earth.
May we be simply at home with you here to create and celebrate
just dwelling.
Spirit of life incense us with the desire for right relation.
Inspire our actions to change our world.
